BYD Atto 3, a renamed version of an EV called Yuan Plus has been awarded a five-star crash rating by safety tester ANCAP.

- 91 percent for adult occupant protection
- 84 percent for child occupant protection
- 69 percent for vulnerable road-user protection
- 80 percent for safety assist features.

80kW DC charger takes merely 45 minutes to charge from zero to 80 percent. Meanwhile, if you are using a 7.2kW AC charger then it might take up to 10 hours for a full charge.
